USA - Paris:
Fly USA to Paris, France.

Day 02
|
Arrival in Paris:
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day is free.

Day 03
|
Paris:
This morning guided sightseeing tour will include many of Paris' famous
sights: Notre Dame Cathedral, the Louvre Museum, the Arc de Triomphe,
the Opera Madeleine, Champs Elysees and much more. The remainder of the
day is at your leisure to explore the many museums, galleries and other
attractions that the city has to offer. (B)

Day 04
|
Paris:
Enjoy a full free day to explore this amazing city. Stroll along the
Champs Elysees, the boutique-lined boulevards, or visit the top of the
Eiffel Tower, built for the World's Fair in 1889. Paris at night offers
unlimited possibilities for everyone's taste. (B)

Day 05
|
Paris - Luxemburg - EMBARKATION:
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive through the French countyside to
Luxemburg, the last of hundreds of independent duchies which once made
up western and central Europe. Embark your floating hotel in the
afternoon and gather in the evening for the Welcome Dinner. The ship
will moor overnight in Luxemburg. (B, D)

Day 06
|
CRUISE - Bernkastel - Zell:
Morning arrival in the charming village of Bernkastel. Located in the
middle of the Moselle wine-producing region Bernkastel boats over 500
years of documented wine history. Take a guided walking tour through the
old town center with its medieval and Renaissance buildings before
continuing to Zell, a delightful town famous for its wine "Zeller
Schwarze Katz," a great souvenir gift. (B, L, D)

Day 07
|
CRUISE - Cochem - Koblenz - Rhine Castles - Rudesheim:
This morning you will arrive in Cochem where a guided tour of the
hilltop Reichsburg Castle offers fascinating views of the river valley.
From here, a motorcoach ride brings you to Koblenz, situated at the
confluence of the Moselle and Rhine Rivers. Reboard your ship and cruise
along the most beautiful and famous part of the Rhine. Be sure to have
your cameras ready as you sail past castle after castle and the
legendary Lorelei Rock. Arrive in Rudesheim, the perfect example of a
Rhine Valley wine town. Visit the unique Siegfried's Mechanical Musical
Instrument Museum and explore the Drosselgrasse, a narrow alley lined
with wine taverns and restaurants. (B, L, D)

Day 08
|
CRUISE - Mainz - Heidelberg - Frankfurt:
Disembark in Mainz and travel by motorcoach to charming Heidelberg,
Germany's oldest university town. The sightseeing tour includes stops at
the red-walled Castle, where the Great Val, a 49,000-gallon 18th-century
wine cask, attracts particular attention. After some free time in which
you can stroll through the cobblestone streets, drive on to Frankfurt,
the bustling metropolis on the River Main, where you rejoin your ship.

Day 09
|
CRUISE - Miltenberg - Wertheim:
Upon arrival in Miltenberg disembark for a guided morning walking tour
of this old Franconian town, which reveals narrow cobblestone streets
and gables, half-timbered houses. You have some time to shop for
souvenirs before your coach takes you to charming Wertheim where you can
browse the market square and experience a typical German market day.
Tonight you'll be entertained by a delightful Crew Review. (B, L, D)

Day 10
|
CRUISE - Wurzburg:
Today, your vessel will dock in Wurzburg, also known as "the Pearl of
the Romantic Road." This historic city is the capital of Lower
Franconia, and a center of wine trade. The highlight of your sightseeing
tour will be a stop at the magnificent Residential Palace. In the
afternoon we recommend the optional excursion to medieval Rothenburg.
During your walking tour marvel at its ramparts and towers, cobbled
lanes and 16th-century houses. You have some free time before returning
to Wurzburg. (B, L, D)

Day 11
|
DISEMBARK - Bamberg:
Enjoy a leisure morning on the sun deck before you enter the Main-Danube
Canal at enchanting Bamberg, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage
Site 1993. Disembark for a guided tour of this medieval gem, with its
uniquely intact town center. Marvel at the breathtaking cathedral, the
Old Town Hall that straddles the river and the city's serpentine streets
with charming houses and 18th-century mansions. Late tonight, you arrive
at your final port, Nuremberg. (B, L, D)

|
DISEMBARKATION - Nuremberg - Prague:
After breakfast, bid farewell to your floating hotel and transfer by
motorcoach to Prague. Check in and enjoy a free afternoon to explore
this city of a "thousand spires" on your own. (B)

|
Prague:
Your morning sightseeing reveals why Prague is considered one of
Europe's most attractive cities. See the thousand-year-old Hradcany
Castle, the Old Town, the Jewish ghetto and many other major sights. The
afternoon amd evening are free to mix with the locals at Wenceslaus
Square, shop for souvenirs or enjoy one the city's many charming cafes,
restaurants or beer taverns. (B)
