Board your overnight transatlantic flights to Budapest.
BUDAPEST:
After arrival in Hungary's capital, transfer to your hotel for check in.
The balance of the day is fee to start exploring this bustling town on
your own.

Day 03
|
BUDAPEST:
Budapest possesses a rich and fascinating history as well as a vibrant
cultural heritage. Recognizing the unique value of its traditions it has
managed to maintain its magic and charm, and is rightly known as one of
the most beautiful cities in the world and the Queen of the Danube. Your
morning sightseeing includes historic Buda Castle, from where you will
have a splendid view of the twin cities of Buda and Pest spread over
both banks of the Danube. Proceed to the 500-year old Mathias Church,
St. Stephen's Basilica, Fishermen's Bastilion, and the Royal Palace.
Spend the remainder of the day at leisure. (B)

Day 04
|
BUDAPEST - EMBARKATION:
Budapest is truly one of the world's most attractive cities, rich in
both natural and architectural beauty. After a fulfilling breakfast,
enjoy your morning in Budapest doing some last sightseeing and souvenir
shopping, or join the optional Puszta excursion. In the afternoon, you
will be transferred to your luxurious river cruise ship docked in the
center of the city. Tonight, enjoy the Gala Welcome Dinner enhanced by
Gipsy violins. (B, D)

Day 05
|
CRUISE - BRATISLAVA:
During the night the ship will sail from HUngary to Slovakia. Upon
arrival in Bratislava, a guided tour of Slovakia's capital will reveal
the city's major sights. From the 13th-century Bratislava Castle you
will enjoy breathtaking views overlooking three countries - Slovakia,
Austria and Hungary. The afternoon is free to shop or explore on your
own. Back on board, end your day with an enchanting music performance.

Day 06
|
CRUISE - VIENNA:
After breakfast, arrive in Austria's fascianting capital, romantic
Vienna. Vienna was the capital of the Habsburg empire for almost seven
centuries and its imperial past is still visible today. Your guided
sightseeing tour includes the lavish Hofburg Palace, the impressive
Vienna Opera House, the magistic Ringstrasse and awe-inspiring St.
Stephen's Cathedral. Use your free afternoon to stroll along
Karntnerstrasse to sample Vienna's famous pastries. In the evening, you
may want to join an optional Mozart or Strauss concert to be purchased

Day 07
|
CRUISE - DURNSTEIN - MELK:
Early this morning you will reach the Wachau Valley. Your first stop is
the town of Durnstein, renown for the baroque Stifskirche with its
magnificent blue facade. Above town you can spot the ruins of the castle
where Richard the Lionheart, the King of England, was imprisoned in
1192. At lunchtime, continue on a short cruise to Melk. A guided tour
takes you to the town's magnificent Benedictine. Abbey, one of Europe's
largest baroque monasteries. This evening's wine tasting highlights your
visit to the Wachau Valley. Before midnight, continue sailing to Linz.

Day 08
|
CRUISE - LINZ - PASSAU:
After breakfast, either take an optional full-day tour to fascinating
Salzburg, which brings you to the famous Sound of Music sights,
or enjoy a relaxing cruise through Upper Austria to the charming German
town of Passau, located at the conjunction of the Inn, Ilz and Danube
Rivers. Enjoy vistas of this fairy-tail city which was founded more than
2,000 years ago. Around dinner time, once everyone is back on board,

Day 09
|
CRUISE - REGENSBURG:
This morning, the ship arrives at Regensburg, one of Germany's best
preserved medieval cities. A guided tour will show you the city's
architectural highlights, including the Old Town Hall, and the Porta
Pretoria - gates to an ancient Roman fort built in 179 AD. At night,

Day 10
|
CRUISE - NUREMBERG:
Enter the Main-Danube Canal and relax during a leisurely sailing through
the beautiful Altmuhl Valley. The afternoon you arrive to Nuremberg, the
capital of Franconia. Enjoy a guided tour of this historic city with its
fabulous Gothic churches and elegant patrician houses. Moor overnight in

DISEMBARK - NUREMBERG - PRAGUE:
After breakfast, disembark your floating hotel and drive by motor coach
through the pastoral countryside to Prague. The remainder of the day is
at your leaisure. (B)

PRAGUE:
Enjoy your sightseeing tour which quickly reveals why Prague is
considered one of Europe's most attractive cities. You will stop at the
thousand-year-old Hradcany Castle - the largest ancient castle in the
world, Prague's Old Town, the Jewish Ghettom and the other major sights
of this city with arich history. During the afternoon and evening, mix
with the locals at Wenceslaus Square or sample the local delicacies in
one of the charming cafes or restaurants. (B)

Day 13
|
PRAGUE:
A relaxing day to take a strall along the banks of the Vitava River, to
start your souvenir shopping or to do some more sightseeing. One of the
tourists' attractions is the Charles Bridge. Together with the most
beautiful panorama of the town, the bridge is admired by hundreds of
thousands of visitors every year.The simple beauty of the bridge is
enchanced by 30 statues and sculptural groups by the most renowned
sculptors. Since the Vltava River runs through the most precious
historical part of the town, visitors often take a short river cruise.
