Built in 1979 and completely reconstructed in 1989, the M/S Kronstadt was refurbished in 2005.
The public facilities consist of a reception, an office and a Snack Bar on the Main (2nd) deck, a dining room , a souvenir shop, and a Pub Bar on the Middle (3rd) deck, a Piano Bar and an Entertainment Lounge on the Upper (4th) deck, and a Conference Room on the (5th) Sun Deck.
Main, Middle and Upper Deck cabins are outward facing with big picture windows that open. All cabins have private toilet / shower facilities, refrigerators, forced air controls, radio and closet space. The ship also has six Presidential
two-room suites and twenty single cabins.
The M/S Kronstadt has continually received the highest praise for its friendly service and a superb on board cultural and entertainment program featuring lectures, seminars and concerts performed by some of Russia’s top entertainers.

The M/S Kronstadt offers a high level of comfort expected of larger floating hotels: comfortable, if not big, twin and single cabins, a one-sitting dining experience and a choice of three public areas where you can relax after a day of sightseeing. The ship offers in-depth cultural and entertainment programs as well as the superb services of our specially trained crews and on board team of entertainers and cruise directors.
FOOD: While our menus are set and we do not offer a la carte dining or midnight lobster snacks, we do have full self service breakfast buffets, early morning coffee, 3 course lunches and 4 course dinners with a choice of main dishes and special highlights such as riverside barbecues, champagne and caviar tasting, piroshki and tea parties, and Russian theme dinners.
ENTERTAINMENT: We employ a team of professional musicians and artists to entertain you during the sailing. They include a folklore group, a violinist, a wonderful pianist, and our live band which will entertain you with dance music each evening in the bar.
ACTIVITIES: You will have the opportunity to enjoy Russian style activities arranged by our cruise directors including Russian champagne and caviar tasting, Russian language lessons, lectures on modern Russian life, bingo, and talent shows. Optional shore activities such as a ballet or a circus performance will be offered during your sailing.
