Egypt Cruise & Tours
As the cradle of civilization, Egypt contains two thirds of the world's greatest historical monuments, including the last remaining "7 Wonders of the Ancient World", the Great Pyramids of Giza. Egypt is the land of Pharaohs, Pyramids, the Sphinx, Cleopatra, King Tut, and the incomparable Nile River. The Nile has been a site of continuous human habitation since at least the Paleolithic era. By about 6000 BC, organized agriculture and large building construction had appeared in the Nile Valley. A unified kingdom was founded circa 3150 BC by King Menes, giving rise to a series of dynasties that ruled Egypt for the next three millennia. The New Kingdom began with the Eighteenth Dynasty and marked the rise of Egypt as an international power. This period is noted for some of the most well-known Pharaohs, including Hatshepsut, Thutmose III, Akhenaten and his wife Nefertiti, Tutankhamun and Ramesses II.
The Nile was the lifeline of the ancient Egyptian civilization, with most of the population and all of the cities of Egypt resting along those parts of the Nile valley lying north of Aswan. Nearly all the cultural and historical sites of Ancient Egypt are found along the banks of the river. The ultimate way to see, to understand, and to enjoy Egypt is to combine a land tour with a Nile cruise. We are proud to bring you some of the best Nile cruise vessels:
the MS Nile Dolphin
,
the MS Crown Prince
, and
the MS Liberty
. All vessels feature well appointed cabins, spacious and elegant public areas, excellent cuisine, on board lectures, activities, and entertainment. They are staffed with young eager to please crews who will assure that your cruise experience will be unforgettable.
